Dr. Muhammad Manshad Satti CEO of IT Butler E-Services was deputed as a chairman Internet Voting Task Force (IVTF) created in 2018 by the orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan to analyze and deliver a recommendation on the Internet voting software developed by NADRA for voting of overseas Pakistanis. In a recent interview with Dunya News, Dr. Satti viewed that voting is possible through the software, however, it is insecure and can be hacked by cyber-attacks. The use of such software without correct measures may undermine the whole election process as there are about 8 million voters overseas who belong to most of the constituencies of Pakistan. He argued that if Govt is sincere on the issue, it entails legislation on the separate electoral seats as Federal Seats for overseas Pakistani to save the local National elections from public controversy
